Welcome. As a warm and genial human, I work in collaboration with my clients in the therapy room - welcoming their feedback to help guide the therapeutic process. I believe that providing an open space for your emotional vulnerability and following you at your pace is the key to the onset of your healing journey. When appropriate for your needs, I incorporate practical tools established in evidence-based modalities to further assist you towards reaching your reported goals and take a strengths-based approach to ensure that your inner strengths are being accessed and cultivated.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), and an approved Clinical Supervisor. I hold a Master of Arts Degree in Counselling, Psychotherapy, and Spirituality from Saint Paul University in Ottawa, Ontario. I currently have 8+ years of experience in mental health services and have been in full time private practice since 2018.

I am passionate in supporting children (5+), teenagers, and adults with ADHD, anxiety disorders, and relational trauma. My goal as a therapist is to provide meaningful support that promotes lasting improvements to mental health and emotional well-being. I take a collaborative approach to sessions that is tailored to the unique needs of each client.

In my therapy sessions, I primarily lean towards implementing the modalities that I have advanced training in: Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I also utilize specialized psychotherapy modalities like Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Play Therapy to clients who seek these specific services. My extensive training background and clinical experience allows me to be prescriptive in my approach to therapy sessions.

Before opening Drice Psychotherapy, I worked in crisis counselling, community support, and former group private practice settings. My roles in crisis counselling and community support included providing clinical support to people without homes, low income communities, newcomers, people struggling with substance misuse, and survivors of sexual violence. My previous private practice allowed me to work closely with a Psychologist that specialized in learning and thinking differences. Because of this, I gained an abundant amount of experience working with youth and their caregivers, and assisting clients of all ages with a variety of anxiety disorders (Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, panic, phobias, social anxiety), and attention disorders (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder: combined, impulsive/hyperactive, inattentive).

I also provide clinical supervision and consultation services to other psychotherapists and related professionals.

Outside of therapy, I deeply value the connection with my loved ones, my community, and nature. My world is centralized around fur babies. I enjoy consuming almost all forms of media (podcasts, music, movies, tv shows) and read one book a week. I welcome any suggestions you may have!

Compassion, warmth, and collaboration are at the heart of my practice. I believe healing unfolds when people feel genuinely seen, heard, and valued. My goal is to create safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental spaces where each person’s story is honoured with empathy, respect, and curiosity. I view therapy as a collaborative journey in which clients are the experts of their own lives, and my role is to walk alongside them with openness and care.

I am a Psychotherapy Intern completing my Master’s in Counselling and Spirituality in the Couples and Family stream at Saint Paul University. My path to psychotherapy began with a Bachelor of Arts in Childhood and Youth Studies and a Minor in Psychology. Before pursuing graduate training, I worked for over six years as a supply teacher, where I developed a deep appreciation for the diverse needs of children, youth, and families, and strengthened my ability to meet people with patience, empathy, and flexibility.

I am passionate about supporting individuals navigating cultural identity, generalized and social anxiety, relational trauma, and depression. My research has focused on the psychological effects ofth the adultification bias on Black girls and women, exploring how early misperceptions of maturity shape identity, belonging, and mental health. This work informs my clinical perspective and deepens my commitment to providing affirming, equity-focused care for clients from diverse backgrounds.

In sessions, I draw on a client-centred approach and integrate elements of Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Parts Work (IFS-informed), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and self-compassion practices. I support clients in building self-awareness, reconnecting with strengths, and moving toward meaningful growth and well-being.

My training emphasizes the integration of mind, body, and when important to the client, spirituality. This holistic perspective allows space to explore questions of meaning, purpose, and resilience, whether from a secular or spiritual lens.

I am currently welcoming new clients (18+) for reduced-fee individual therapy.
